RECOMMEND REPLACE LEAKING PRESSURE SWITCH AT THIS TIME. ****DURING VISUAL INSPECTION, FOUND COOLANT BYPASS HOSE LEAKING ONTO STARTER. LEAKING FROM PLASTIC JOINT. RECOMMEND REPLACE AND FILL COOLING SYSTEM.**** REPLACED EGR COOLANT BYPASS HOSE AND PIPE ASSEMBLY, SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES, OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND CLEANED ENGINE. ADDED UV DYE FOR FUTURE LEAK DETECTION. RECOMMEND CUSTOMER TO RETURN IN 200 MILES TO INSPECT FOR LEAKS. ROAD TESTED VEHICLE. ALL OK AT THIS TIME

WITH VEHICLE RUNNING IN PARK, FOUND COOLING FAN INOP. MONITORED LIVE DATA WITH SCAN TOOL AND FOUND WITH A/C COMMANDED ON, COOLING FAN DUTY CYCLE COMMAND AT 97% WITH NO OPERATION FROM FAN. BACKPROBED POWER AND GROUND CIRCUITS AT COOLING FAN CONTROL MODULE AND FOUND POWER AND GROUND PRESENT WITH NO FAN OPERATION. REMOVED COOLING FAN CONTROL MODULE AND TESTED VOLTAGE/DUTY CYCLE OUTPUT TO FAN MOTOR AND FOUND GOOD BATTERY VOLTAGE PRESENT WITH DUTY CYCLE MATCHING THAT COMMANDED BY ECM. USING POWER PROBE WITH 30 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER, APPLIED BATTERY VOLTAGE TO FAN MOTOR DIRECTLY AND FOUND FAN TO OPERATED NORMALLY WITH 10AMP DRAW, WELL WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS. DURING FURTHER INSPECTION, FOUND GROUND TERMINAL ON FAN MOTOR HARNESS BACKED OUT OF CONNECTOR. RE-INSTALLED GROUND TERMINAL INTO CONNECTOR AT FAN CONTROL MODULE. CLEARED CODES AND ROAD TESTED VEHICLE WHILE MONITORING LIVE DATA. ALL OK AT THIS TIME, COOLING FAN AND CONTROL MODULE WORKING AS DESIGNED. NO CODES RETURNED.
