SCANNED VEHICLE FOR CODES AND FOUND : P0037-BANK 1 SENSOR 2 HEATER CIRCUIT LOW P0031-BANK 1 SENSOR 1 HEATER CIRCUIT LOW P0340-CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT P0344-CAMSHAFT SENSOR CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT DURING VISUAL INSPECTION, FOUND OIL LEAKING THROUGH CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR AND CONNECTOR WHICH WILL INTERMITTENTLY LOSE SIGNAL DUE TO OIL CONTAMINATION. MONITORED LIVE DATA WITH SCAN TOOL AND FOUND BOTH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM SENSORS TO READ LEAN CONDITION. FUEL TRIM SHORT AND LONG INDICATE LEAN CONDITION AND ARE EXCESSIVELY HIGH. INSTALLED SMOKE MACHINE TO INTAKE SYSTEM TO LOOK FOR ANY POSSIBLE VACUUM LEAKS AND FOUND LARGE LEAK FROM INTAKE MANIFOLD AT CYLINDER HEAD. TESTED FOR POWER AT UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM SENSORS AND FOUND NO POWER TO OXYGEN SENSOR HEATERS WHEN COMMANDED ON. DISCONNECTED HARNESS FROM BOTH SENSORS AND AT PCM. TESTED INTEGRITY OF WIRE HARNESS AND FOUND WIRING TO BE OK AT THIS TIME. COMMANDED HEATERS ON WITH SCAN TOOL AND FOUND NO VOLTAGE OUTPUT FROM ECM. TESTED RESISTANCE OF OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER ELEMENTS AND FOUND OPEN CIRCUIT ON BOTH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM SENSORS. RECOMMEND REPLACE ECM, INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS, BOTH O2 SENSORS AND CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR WITH MAGNET AND PIGTAIL. ****ECM WILL NEED TO BE REPROGRAMMED*** CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE ECM OR REPROGRAM THE ECM AND ALSO IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE O2 SENSORS ALONG WITH THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS AND THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR – CLIENT ADVISED AND CLIENT DECLINED ALL REPAIRS AT THIS TIME

  • TECHNICIAN FOUND: WIPER BLADES ARE WORN – CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE WIPER BLADES ENGINE AIR FILTER IS DIRTY AND CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE ENGINE AIR FILTER – BELTS ARE DRY AND CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE BELTS IN THE FUTURE RADIATOR HOSES APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL BUT ARE NOT LEAKING AT THIS TIME – CLIENT ADVISED BATTERY TERMINALS ARE CORRODED – CLIENT ADVISED LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ARE CRACKING – CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ALL ENGINE MOUNTS ARE TORN AND CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE ENGINE MOUNTS VEHICLE FOUND TO HAVE MULTIPLE FLUID LEAKS AND CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE VALVE COVER GASKETS AND PERFORM AN ENGINE CLEAN AND ADD DYE TO DETERMINE WHERE FURTHER LEAKS ARE COMING FROM FRONT BRAKES ARE AT 8MM REAR BRAKE PADS ARE AT 3MM AND CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE REAR BRAKE PADS IN THE NEAR FUTURE LEFT FRONT TIRE AND RIGHT REAR TIRES ARE CRACKING – CLIENT ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE AT LEAST TWO TIRES ON THE VEHICLE CLIENT ADVISED TO ALL RECOMMENDED REPAIRS AND SERVICES – CLIENT DECLINED ALL RECOMMENDED REPAIRS AND SERVICES AT THIS TIME
